Here are some great old vintage Coat Trolley Strings for your hat! These still operate perfectly, lots of elasticity and still great color.

These are being sold 1 at a time, it’s the price for each one.

After shipping a couple of these out we discovered that in order to ship them as cheap as possible with a tracking number the cheapest way is USPS and they are charging $5. So it will certain save money if your buying more than 1. There is no extra shipping charge to ship out multiple trolley strings.

These are all at least 24 inches long and can be easily cut down to size. Fits hat sizes 6 to 7-1/2. Just cut to size and sew to the hat. It’s all pretty easy.

These were used on most every hat between 1930 through 1960s. Makes any hat look like a high end vintage hat. Just a really great look!

Coat Trolley strings were found on nearly every vintage hat so that when it was windy or when in a hurry or just in a large crowd, the hat would not fall to the ground or get lost.

Dad believes these are from the 1960s. He said he bought these when a hatter went out of business after Hurricane Donna passed through here in Miami and destroyed his business.

There are various colors.

These are very easy to get attached. Dad and I took one of my hats to a local tailor and as you can see it took them 5 minutes to sew it in under the bow. They needed to measure it out and cut of an inch to make it the right size but it worked out perfectly. Cost was only $6 plus tax.

We couldn’t find anything on the internet like it so maybe there aren’t any available. They are all 24 inches long and since they are elastic they will stretch out to 30 inches without over stretching it at all. So this will fit any size hat you have.
