The image area measures 32.5 x 50.4 cm [12¾" x 19¾"], and the map is
copyrighted 1921
in the lower margin.
- It was compiled by the L.L. Poates Engraving Company, New
York.
- Before the federal highway numbering system was
implemented, major automobile routes were known
and marked as "named trails."

Among the ones labeled on the map are the
Lincoln Highway, Midland Trail,
Pacific Highway, Wonderland Trail, Camino Real, Southern Highway, and
Black & Yellow Trail.
- Named national camps, also known as forts or military
bases, include
Beauregard, Kearney, Cody, Macarthur, Jackson,
Dix, Mills, Upton, and Lewis.

Marked aeroplane routes also include distances in miles.
- Condition: This map is in excellent
condition, bright and clean, with two vertical folds, as
issued, and no
marks, rips, or tears. Please see the scans and feel free to ask any

- It is an original, authentic 1921 map, not
a reproduction or modern reprint, and it is fully guaranteed to be
genuine.
- There's a map of the world on the reverse side, showing
steamship routes, submarine cables, and railroads. The legend key
