This 1996 Canadian 2-dollar coin features the iconic Polar bear design and is in brilliant, uncirculated condition. The bimetallic composition features an aluminum bronze center in a nickel ring and has a fineness of 0.5. This is the first issue of the 2-dollar coin with the Elizabeth II Polar bear variety and has not been certified. The KM number for this coin is 270 and it was minted in Canada. A great addition to any coin collection, this 2-dollar coin is a unique piece of Canadian currency history.
