Published in 1954, the Micromodel kit builds model of the Vatican City with St. Peter’s Basilica. The scale is believed to be 1:3840 and the resulting model can be held the palm of your hand.

Micromodels were published in the period 1947-1955. As the name implies, the models were small and the parts of the kits were printed on cards, each measuring 5” x 3 ½ “.

The kit has good diagrams and full English instructions. The parts are printed on 12 cards.

The modeller cuts out the pieces, scores, bends, folds and curves them into the right shape before gluing them together. The result is a proper 3-D scale model.
