Bodies and feet are made of cotton batting. Chenille arms, legs and beards. One is sitting on tiny pine one the others on tiny pieces of wood. One is playing paper symbols the others are holding cotton batting lanterns. Traces of mica on bases. Faces look like painted on clay. 2 are missing hangers on hats. All marked Japan on bottom. So adorable! Estate sale find.
