Hard to find circa 1952 promotional flyer for the post Broadway production of the John Van Druten play "I am a Camera" at the Harris Theatre, Chicago.

At Harris Theatre Chicago. Open Monday, September 15. It was the Second Play of the Theatre Guild American Theatre Society Subscription Series.

The production opened in 1951 at the Empire Theatre in New York City and ran for over 200 performances before going on the road. They play, which eventually became the basis for John Kander and Fred Ebb's musical "Cabaret". Julie Harris played "Sally Bowles".

Advertising handbills were typically inserted into playbills of other productions to help promote ticket sales of upcoming productions.

This will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre fan or historian.

Condition: This is a vintage pre-loved item. See pictures. Item shows typical signs of wear and aging based on use an age. There are several creases. A small tear in the top as pictured.
