This is a beautiful playing and looking perfectly and humanly reliced 1965 Guild Duane Eddy DE 400 from the Hoboken era with all original parts and the rare Dearmond Humbuckers with its original case that is a bit raggedy but all the latches work--the inside pocket works and it protects the guitar like it was designed to do. No bad smells or stains.

If you're looking you likely know about this guitar and it's value. A luthier recently went over it and optimized all the moving parts--pickup poles--truss rod--pots--did a set up and treated the brazilian fretboards and cleaned and polished the instrument--it's ready to play out of the case.

The truss rod works in both direction with minimum current relief on the neck--there's room on the saddle to lower the action which is perfect for me right now at 5/64ths at both e strings--maybe slightly higher at the bottom e string but only a 64th--if that--

No breaks or repairs--the neck joint at the heel is absolutely tight--the back of the necks has some imperfections none of which affect playing--the Guildsby works perfect as do the tuners and the guitar stays in tune throughout an evening of rockabilly or blues (my interests)

Cosmetics are well represented--there is some minor binding separation you can see around the heel but none of it is flaking or moving--just shrinking--elsewhere the binding is remarkably good for a nearly 60 year old Guild--

the finish is actually a lovely nearly subdued cherry.
