FULL DISCLOSURE!

Wonder what Mars, UFOs, and Route 66 in Kingman, Arizona have to do with each other?  Well, about 10 years ago I came across an old book on UFO crashes and it mentioned a crash that allegedly happened in May of 1953 just south of Kingman off Route 66!  And there was an anecdotal account of two alien bodies found in the craft......(much more info on Google!)

One day my former partner was working away at the forge and a weird-looking pendant sprang from his wild imagination;  the first thing that struck me about this pendant was that it looked alien....like a girl alien....channeled from the Kingman crash?

Thus, the inspiration for the MISS MARS ROUTE 66 NECKLACE and earring set.  I put this necklace together with copper findings and lampwork beads.  The hand-forged copper pendant has been sealed to protect the patina.

The necklace measures 20 inches, the pendant is 2 inches in length.  The earrings have a 1 1/4-inch drop.

I do believe this set is OUT OF THIS WORLD!  OOAK!  Bright and eye-catching!  Never to be duplicated!
