This listing is for a vintage tenor saxophone mouthpiece. There is no brand name on it, but it is stamped "Qualite Superieure" lightly on the side. I believe these were made by Riffault, and sometimes sold by Lelandais. I would guess that this mouthpiece dates to the 1960's, or thereabouts. It has a medium/small round chamber, and deeply scooped inner side walls. It is stamped 6 on the side, but the tip opening is quite small. It measures in at .055". This would be a great one to have opened up by your favorite refacer, although it is quite playable as is if you use a hard reed. This mouthpiece is made of hard rubber, not plastic.

It is in excellent used condition. The tip, table, and rails are perfectly smooth, and original. There are no tooth indentations on the beak. There is virtually no scratching on the exterior. The rubber is discolored/faded as seen in the pictures. It has been cleaned/sanitized.

Please feel free to message me with any questions.

Thanks again for looking!
