Charles HE Bright Watchmaker Peterborough Antique Wrist Watch Box Case (DF)

Totally uncleaned and unrestored, lovely vintage box as shown, have shown measurements in pictures.
Unsure if this would have fitted a mens or ladies watch. The space for the head appears to be 30mm which suggests probably a mans watch of the period. I have a trench watch which I placed there and it fits. The space allowed for a strap/band also matched that of the lugs on the watch.
A lovely scarce find.
