This kit include a custom made AUX BUS switching remote.  The remote connects to the V800 via RS-232 to provide hardware buttons that switch the AUX BUS just like the V800 MKII.  What's even better is that this remote is a seperate unit that can be operated by a second video engineer.  Each engineer can focus on providing the best visuals for their intended audience (live in room, remove via web stream, live cut recording, or even give the remote to the show-caller /producer to let them choose for themselves what they want to see on their confidence monitor). 

Refer to the photos for reference.  The power LED illuminates when plugged into the included power supply.  The link LED illuminates when the RS-232 cable is connected & the V800 is set to allow a remote control (Menu -> System -> Remote -> ON).  The button on the right shifts between the "red" and "green" layers.  The "red" layer lets you choose inputs 1 - 8 while "green"  provides mixer in, mixer out, DSK in, DSK out, Input 9 (still store 1), input 10 (still store 2).  These are all the options provided by Roland that are accessible through the menu.
