Stunning American Bulldog Hog Hunt figurine in Bronze effect.
This is an opportunity to purchase a unique American Bulldog Figurine.
The Hog Hunt is inspired for my love of American Bulldogs, their strength, stamina, courage and loyalty, a truly amazing dog and a pleasure to keep. This particular figurine is actually sculptured from one of my dogs a Scott Type who was true to type and would I'm sure of made a good Catch dog.
American Bulldogs to this day take part in Hog Hunts in North America, more the southern states & parts of Europe. Dogs are bred especially for this blood sport, it takes a lot of stamina and strength and also intelligence, something that the American Bulldog is not short of. Whilst some dogs are used for the chase and to bay and corner the Hogs, its then usually that the American Bulldog would move in for the kill. These dogs are as ferocious as the hogs and need to be as some of the Boars weigh as much as 400 pounds.
Sculptured by the artist John Rattenbury in 2011 which is shown on the figurine. Made of cold cast resin in bronze effect. This Figurine has a Hand Polished finish, which gives it a light golden brown appearance. We also have for sale the same item in a Machine polished finish, giving a darker shiny effect. Each is to ones own preference.

Although all our figurines were made around 2011, they are new to the market from November 2019 copyrighted and can not be found anywhere else. It was a pleasure to work with the artist on sculpting American Bulldog figurines that are true to type and appearance. Thank your time in reading this.
