This auction is for 1 (One) Technics 1200 / 1210 Complete Hinge Set / Kit.

(NO MALE HINGES INCLUDED).

This Kit will make your SL-1200 / 1210 M3D / MK3D / MK5 / M5G / MK5G hinge-able like the MK2.

The following parts are included in this Kit.

  • 2 x Support Plates (Needed to hinge models M3D / MK3D, MK5, M5G / MK5G).
  • 2 x Threaded Bars (These are behind the plates to accept screws).
  • 2 x Female hinge sockets (These are to accept the male hinges).
  • 4 x Screws to adhere the female sockets through the mounting plates into the threaded bars.
You MUST have a Dust Cover with Male Hinges Attached to complete this modification.

If you can use a screw driver you can do this modification. You will need a Phillips screw driver and will require you to remove the bottom 4 feet, (21 Screws) to remove the bottom rubber cover to access the plates (2 screws each) to remove the ones presently there and replace them with the ones in this kit.

This Set / Kit does not include the Dust Cover.
