Super cool style vintage Chanel Soho python skin handbag with gunmetal silver chain strap and a gunmental silver turn lock closure.
The strap moves and can be worn on the shoulder or crossbody.
The handbag is in good condition with no major flaws.
There is wear on trims showing, and the genuine large python flakes are showing wear by curling in a bit in some places (all are intact). There is rubbing and wear present.
This bag has seen quite a bit of use and has lost its shape, so is very soft and looks great when worn.
The tassel piece also shows wear, and one of the python tassel bits is missing, but it's completely unnoticeable. The hardware is starting to tarnish slightly.
It's such a beautiful bag, and each bag from this line is a uniquely different shade as the python skin varies. This bag is a mixture of dark brown to a light golden brown (very Autumn colors). Serial code used to be inside near the bottom of the bag (there is still a bit of glue from where it was). The leather inside of the bag shows tiny cracking of the upper color layer (especially on the sides of the inside).
This bag needs an owner who will take good care of it and it will last many many years.
*The area just near the zipper pocket inside had a rip and it was professionally repaired by a leather specialist and they did a fantastic job by adding a color-matched piece of leather over the rip so it's now good to go.
