From studying this mug in detail, I believe it is a mug form that has been painted in a 50s or 60s style, but is current. The handle of the mug says to me that it is not hand thrown but rather molded. That's my best guess. It might be something different! Whatever the case, it is a very neat and unusual painted pattern!
