Here is a beautiful watercolor and pencil on aged paper signed Modigliani. Left side of the paper is irregular, often called "deckled." Signed Modigliani across the bottom right in blue.  Modigliani started with sculpture, doing his "caryatids."  I am selling as "attributed to Modigliani"  based on the pHD paperwork included.

(1)A signed Provenance document on letterhead stationary from son who inherited from father in British government.
(2)A COA as attributed to Modigliani by an pHD, Art Historian, consultant. 
(3)An appraisal from a Certified Appraiser from 2008.
(4)A second COA on the signature by a Forensic Autograph Expert.
(5)A copy of a letter from the British government dated 1955. Letter acknowledges an attempt from the owner to return art he had in his possession that was from forced seizures between 1933-1945.
