This is a breathtaking hand carved wooden Nut Cracker with a bear's head. The wood carving and details are incredible. The color is slightly darker in reality than the photos. A family heirloom, this piece has been in the owner's family for decades. Brought to the Unites States by the owner's grandmother who migrated to the US early 1900s. Based on the time period and similar pieces, this piece would have been made between 1900 - 1920. Measures about 8 inches long, 3 1/4 inches wide and about 2 inches deep. It is in very good condition for the age. Some age wear but we see no damage or repair. Please check all photos.
