Super rare, (seemingly new old stock?) Bob Latino version of the venerable audiophile classic. No tubes, fully assembled, likely never powered up: output transformers still have the factory sticker. Cosmetically in great condition but the power transformer does have a small chip on the paint. This sample has the pentode/triode switch option.

Latino's website (tubes4hifi.com) is currently selling the same amplifier for $1400 plus shipping and tax. The pentode/triode switch option costs an additional $50. See attached screenshots of their website for details on current pricing.

For those who are not familiar, this is an updated version of the classic Dynaco ST70, redesigned to address weaknesses and with modern components. Examples include more robust power and output transformers (all made in the USA), improved chassis material and speaker binding posts, individual channel bias control, more durable tube sockets, etc. Visit https://www.tubes4hifi.com/amps.htm#ST70 for more details.

Tubes will run you another couple hundred or so.

Due to the fact that the amplifier has not been tested, it is being sold as is, for parts, no returns. Quoted shipping price only applies to lower 48 states. If located outside the continental US, please contact me before bidding. For buyers outside the US, I encourage the use of eBay Global, although please note that additional fees may apply. The amplifier will be carefully packed, double boxed and surrounded with foam to ensure safe arrival to its destination.

Local pick up is welcome in the Rochester, NY area. Thanks for looking!
