Welcome to our listing for a used VW CLASSIC BEETLE 1970-72+1302 GENUINE FUEL FILLER FLAP RELEASE CABLE & D-HANDLE, original part #111809939C, & 111823461.  This would have been standard fitment to 1970-1972 Bugs with the type of 'locking' fuel filler flap that the retracting pin part fits into. If your beetle hasn't got this, this part won't work!  The part does have a few scratches/usage marks/patina (especially on the base where the pin is) but overall it's in good all-round condition for its age (50+ years) and would benefit from a light clean up before fitting. The D-Handle is a brand new reproduction part (to original specification) as most of the genuine handles are broken now. It screws on and off the corkscrew part when you're fitting. Includes the 2x mounting screws on the main body but not the 1x mount screw on the bottom pin part.. Yes you could make up a reproduction of this part out of several reproduction parts, but it will cost you more and the quality will be less than this mostly genuine version. Untested, no warranty.
