Unless the item states that it is new, NOS condition in packaging items in non or un-issued condition can be 50 years old or more. They will not show wear or signs of use but they have been stored for years and shipped around the world so they will show signs of storage and may have that military surplus smell.

Gr. 10 - L/R. The chest measures app. 23" armpit to armpit or 46" all of the way around the outside of the chest measured from just under the armpits. Shoulders as measured from the outside shoulder seam to shoulder seam is app. 19". Sleeves measured from the outside edge of the shoulder seam to the tip of the sleeves is app. 25". Total length measured from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the leg is app. 59". Inseam measured from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg is app. 30" (note that with the way these will ride that will probably add 2" or so to the inseam). The waist measures app. 20" measured edge to edge across the waist with the pants lying flat. Well done stitched repair outside the crotch.

Inseam measured from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg is app. 34" (note that with the way these will ride that will probably add 2" or so to the inseam). The waist measures app. 21 1/2" measured edge to edge across the waist with the pants lying flat. One with a well done stitched repair on the knee and one with tiny well done repair on the lower leg.
