This is a LIFE Magazine from May 3, 1937, with actress Jean Harlow on the
cover. Sadly, and ironically, she died about a month later, from uremic
poisoning at age 26. This issue is in really nice shape. Minor paper
discoloration. Some small paper bends here and there. Paper is on the heavier
side, because it was before the War began. No loose pages. Articles include
Hollywood actors and actresses, King George VI coronation (father of Queen
Elizabeth), artist Edward Hopper, John L. Lewis, Wisconsin Log Chopping
contest, Shirley Temple and more. Lots of content in this issue, which is in really nice
condition. Many vintage ads too.
