This vintage/antique New Guinea style art piece is a unique addition to any collection. Made from a gourd and featuring a metal stand, this item is perfect for display. Traditional item made from a gourd that has been smoked over fire then scraped and painted with intricate patterns.  The lid has a bone as handle.  Very interesting indigenous people art object.  It measures aprox. 4 1/2" tall, 9 1/2" around.  The little metal stand is an extra and measures 3" tall.
