Romano-British Bronze Broach depicting a Goddess / Water Nymph with fish or dolphins? Circa 50CE

Size:  1 1/2" inches x 5/8" inches approximately.

Great ancient age patina and superb details to the casting.  The original pin is still in position and very slightly moveable with care.  

Provenance: from an old British collection, originally found by a metal detectorist near Caistor St Edmond near Norwich, England - this was the Iceni tribal centre known as Venta Icanorum and dates to around the period of Boudicca and the Iceni revolt against Roman rule.
