Condition and Features

This is a traditional Japanese game called Daruma-Otoshi.

This is a game similar to Jenga, in which the player uses the attached hammer to hit the bottom block and knock it to the side so as not to drop the top Daruma doll.

When not in use, the hammer can be fixed through the hole in the center and displayed as a colorful kokeshi doll.

Although old, it is in good condition with few scratches, dents, or fading of concern.

Made of natural materials and beautifully decorated, this game can be enjoyed by both children and adults.

May this lovely kokeshi doll become your guardian deity and bring you health and happiness!

About Kokeshi

Japanese kokeshi dolls have long been considered guardian deities for children and objects that bring health and happiness. Kokeshi dolls were also known as Japanese folk art decorating the Eames House and Herman Miller U.S. headquarters and were given to celebrate a new chapter in life or the development of an opening of business.
