The book has been well-preserved and is in very good condition. The book, published by George C. Harrap & Co Ltd and printed by Jarrold & Sons Ltd, is an original and comes complete with illustrations by Arthur Rackham.

Covers: very good condition, very clean free from foxing, very minor edge nibbling.

Pages: complete, very good condition, very clean with foxing to the first few the story pages are unaffected, free from child doodling, frontispiece remains, no loose pages or missing pages.
