This listing is for a simply stunning Scalextric 2 car collectors set (C2923A), celebrating the 1967 Year of Legends, which saw Dan Gurney - a private Team owner and constructor - take on the might of Jim Clark and Lotus Formula 1 Racing, and win!

The Gurney Eagle only won one race, the 1967 Belgian Grand Prix at Spa, but in doing so Dan Gurney joined his former team-mates, Jack Brabham and Bruce McLaren, in being one of only three men to have won a race in a car of his own construction.

This is a rare two vehicle set - number 1327 of only 7000 worldwide - featuring both the victorious V12 Eagle Weslake of Dan Gurney, and the V8 Ford powered Lotus 49 of Jim Clark which finished second.

I bought this set from a specialist auction of a private collection.  It has obviously been kept it excellent condition - please see photos as this is the actual item you will receive.  It is Boxed, with numbered Certificate / Card and is completely unmarked.

This is in mint condition, I'm certain the cars have never been removed from the box, never mind been on a track!

The box colours are bright and not faded, there are no 'dings' on the corners as often found, and the clear plastic protective cover is unmarked - wow!

This even comes with the original Cardboard outer box! - one for the collectors, you will not find better!

It is of course pre-owned, but I would happily class this as being as new - mint - fantastic - it's simply beautiful!

Post is charged at cost only and there is no charge for packing or materials.

Please note, the GSP does not support combined shipping - add all items to the basket then pay in one go, that way only one order number and one tracking number will be produced - poor ebay gets confused otherwise!
