Wherever I am, there's always Pooh,
There's always Pooh and Me.
Whatever I do, he wants to do,
"Where are you going today?" says Pooh:
"Well, that's very odd 'cos I was too.
Let's go together," says Pooh, says he.
"Let's go together," says Pooh.

Here we offer a very attractive facsimile of the 1927 first edition of A.A. Milne's endearing classic, Now We Are Six, originally published by Methuen & Company, London; and here faithfully recreated by Methuen in 1999. Originally written by a father for his child, the book is fittingly charming. Densely illustrated by the iconic Pooh illustrator, E.H. Shepard, Now We Are Six is notable for being the third of the original four books that made up what would become known as the Winnie-the-Pooh series, as Pooh is featured throughout.  It comes complete with a very special facsimile dust jacket you can only get here, digitally remastered and printed on a heavyweight Columbia blue sheet of vellum-textured French art paper. The book also comes with a facsimile of the original advertising leaflet Methuen inserted with Winnie the Pooh.

In very good condition, with only minor shelfwear to the binding and appearing unread within (please see pics.) Gilt atop text block (to keep dust out) is as bright as new. Very tight and square binding; very clean, bright, and crisp text and illustrations.  102 pages; measures approximately 7.75 x 5.25-inches.

This wonderful facsimile of this iconic first will be a delightful addition to your collection or a very special gift.
