RWD-8 training and liaison aircraft - Andrzej Glass The RWD-8 was the Polish aircraft produced in the largest number before World War II, over 550 units. Used in flying clubs and flying schools, it was our most popular plane in the 1930s. Over a thousand sports pilots and even more military pilots trained there, a total of about 2.5 thousand. Most Polish pilots fighting during World War II owe their aerial baptism to him. Because he could be found everywhere, he aroused little interest. Two basic serial versions were known: one produced in the Experimental Aviation Workshops and one produced in the Podlaska Airplane Factory. The planes were used by military aviation, flying schools and flying clubs, and exported.
The book was published together with the Air Force Museum in Dęblin
