This is a script published by Paine Publishing of Dayton, Ohio in 1939.  It's an operetta for children and includes text and music

Cover - beautifully illustrated with scrolls and a mandolin player with the title of the play in large font - a great vintage Christmas decoration.  Black print on a tan paper

Back cover has only the logo of the company (but it's a pretty cool stylized initials logo)

Inside front cover is a great vintage advertisement for other musical plays for children available through Paine Publishing

Inside is a listing of characters - note, this was a used script, and there are names written into the character breakdown with first names of the children cast as each role.  I'm sure Arlene Martha and Delores made great Peppermint Sticks!
