Handmade Hay Feeder - Perfect to prevent hay being blown around the fields/paddock, saves time (and money) by avoiding the terrible task of cleaning blown hay from the field .

Easy to relocate to avoid killing one area of grass - slightly raised for minimal contact area with the ground to save the field from being trashed underneath.

Slatted base to keep hay off the floor and allow rainwater to run off, preserving your hay for longer!

Made with weather proofed wood and rust resistant screws, sanded down to remove any sharp edges.

Clear yacht gloss finish or oak finish available - the latter does keep these looking cleaner for longer!

These boxes are hand made to order, please allow 5-7 working days for shipment, although we will aim to dispatch as quick as we can.

As reclaimed wood is used for this project, there may be knots, dents, nail holes etc in the wood, showcasing their rustic charm and previous working life.

Returns

Please contact us should you not be happy with your purchase.  Returns cannot be accepted on made to order goods.

Damaged Goods

Should your purchase arrive damaged by the courier, please let us know and we will do out best to resolve.  Please inform us of any damage ASAP after receipt and send pictures of the damage.

Connecting any fixtures

Please bear in mind that reclaimed wood is used in the production of these items - please do not over tighten the screws when connecting any fixtures or fittings as this could cause the wood to split - we cannot be held liable for damage sustained during installation.

Delivery

We will endeavour to ship ASAP, but please remember that each piece is carefully selected, sanded and stained to the desired colour - some may require several coats and each one must dry, this can take several days alone before the piece can be shipped.

Due to postal options, delivery to Scottish Highlands etc., may take a few days longer than quoted.

Finish

The pictures are for illustration only - each piece of wood used has its own background and history, and the finish on each piece will vary greatly.  A light oak finish will look substantially different when applied to a pale piece, rather than a darker wood.  Please contact us for any specific requirements and we will do our best to match when selecting which piece to use for the project.

Please also remember this is reclaimed wood and as such there will be defects to the wood, stains, nail holes, cracks, dents or mis-shaped sections, this is part of the joy of working with reclaimed wood, but these will certainly not be straight and even.  Every piece is hand sanded and as such the dimensions are liable to change minimally, the wood used may not be perfectly straight or smooth.
