Vintage men's suede belted car coat, from the 1970s.  The brand is Carswell's of Glasgow.  It is lined with acrylic faux fur, with quilting inside the sleeves.  Double-breasted, with buttons to anchor.  Split seam at the back - see photos.

It is in reasonably good, clean condition for its age.  There is some rubbing to the suede around the pockets and belt loops.  A tear under one of the belt loops has been mended - not really visible when you are wearing the coat.  Original belt - good condition. 

Chest size is given as 44 inches. 

Width armpit to armpit across the back:  approx 62cm or 25 inches.

Length from centre back collar seam:  approx 100cm or 39.5 inches.

Sleeve length from top seam:  approx 68cm or just under 27 inches.

Weight is around 2kg - it is heavy and warm!
