KM 523, one year type, issued by Hungary while it was fighting for the Axis during World War II, for the 75th birthday of the regent Admiral Horthy. Proof restrike aluminum crown , with the admiral on the obverse.

Hungary fought for the German forces during World War II, so that they could fight against their ancient enemies, the Russians. Later, when Admiral Horthy tried to negotiate a peace treaty with the Allies, he was deposed by German forces and a puppet government was put in place.
