Silver Bullion “Mishkenot Sha’ananim”
“Mishkent Shananim” is the first Jewish neighborhood built outside the walls of Jerusalem at the end of the 19th century by Moshe Montefiore.
Interior: The design directs a view from the neighborhood of “Mishkent Sha’anim” towards the walls of Old Jerusalem. To the right, rises the famous Tower of David and next to it is the Jaffa Gate. In front, the alleys of the neighborhood, its typical houses and roofs with its arched windows. On the left, the famous windmill stands out in the landscape.
A common side to the series : the Lion of Jerusalem and some of the prominent buildings in Jerusalem within an outline reminiscent of a city emblem, the trademark of the company’s mint, the inscriptions in English: “1 ounce of pure gold 9999.” In gold, “1 ounce 999 pure silver.” in money, and the year of minting.Theme side design: Esnat Eshel
Shared side design: Yaakov Enidi
