How to Save
|
For some CDs I give the option to buy without the standard plastic jewel case, for a discount.
The discount is given because it's cheaper to post (but it can't be shown as a Postage option).
You still get the booklet and/or other paper inlays with the CD - just not the plastic case - and
suitably packaged for mailing.
Don't buy both - there is only one - "With Case" OR "Without Case".

You can also save by Combining Postage for multiple items from swrv26.
Use the ebay cart to assemble your order. If you have a few minutes,
please look at my other CDs to see if you can take advantage of Combined Postage.

(International buyers only): If you ask me to do so (by ebay message within 30 days of purchase),
I will recalculate the "Postage" charge based on giving me the same net result as I would get
from an equivalent sale in Australia, in accordance with my customary methods and provisions,
and, after your parcel has been delivered to you, issue a refund to you for the difference
if it is a positive amount.

Australia
|
The Combined "Postage" charge within Australia is no more than $0.90* for your entire order
(except it will be more if you add tracking or other options at checkout).
Be assured, Australia Post and ebay receive the full amounts due to them.

Even if you don't add tracking and none of the CDs in your order already include tracking,
I may add tracking (for example: due to total value, or at random) at no extra charge to you.

If you sometimes use a Parcel Locker:
Please note that most CDs are sent within Australia as a "large letter",
which Australia Post requests that you don't have addressed to a Parcel Locker.
Unless you're ordering five or more CDs (in jewel cases, or say sixteen or more without cases),
or CDs in special larger packaging such as box sets, please use an address
other than a Parcel Locker if possible.

International
|
I include tracking with Australia Post's Standard International service.
|
The International Postage that ebay calculates on my behalf for you to pay up-front uses
Australia Post's rates by Region (for the weight I have recorded for the items in your ebay cart)
and adds AU$5.00* flat plus AU$1.00* for each item (including the first).
This is to cover additional fees that apply to international sales in ebay.
There is potential for the calculated amount to be insufficient
(in which event I'll carry the difference, of course),
but there will usually be a small amount left over for a refund.
(It's not possible to know the final amount in advance
and the ebay platform doesn't provide for more variables anyway.
If required I can give an approximation of the refund before you commit to buy,
if you send me a message identifying the item/s,
whether they are "With Case" or "Without Case" for those that have that option available,
and also identifying your country.)

Australia Post has price thresholds at 250 grams including packaging,
then at 500 grams and at each 500 grams increment thereafter.
For guidance, most (but not all) CDs in standard jewel cases weigh under 125 grams.
This means that, most often, adding a second CD to your order
will only increase the calculated up-front postage charge by AU$1.00*.

(In most jurisdictions, ebay collects such tax from you and passes it on to the relevant authority).
