POWER SUPPLY ICOM
IC-701PS SUIT IC-701HF TRANSCEIVER
The ICOM power
supply may suit an ICOM equipment collector or for someone wishing to team up
the PSU with ICOM transceivers of the era. It may be suitable for someone wishing to complete an existing vintage display line-up in the radio shack.
This ICOM
power supply was manufactured around approx 1979 & was produced in order to
power up & run the IC-701 HF transceiver within a home base situation.
The unit
offered for sale has been robust & reliable within the decades that my
family has used it to run a IC-701 transceiver.
It does have a
digital clock module installed but the clock had been disconnected some time
ago.
The unit has a speaker within front also for connection externally to the ICOM transceiver's audio output socket.
The main power
filter electrolytic condensers within the PSU had been replaced some time back &
so the DC O / P voltage is clean & relatively ripple free with no audio hum
heard when connected to radio.
The PSU does
have some marks & scratches on lids, but not too bad for a 44 year old
device.
It is fairly
clean & presentable overall.
The unit has
the correct DC voltage O/P cable with correct 3 pin connector in order to
attach to the IC-701 or other suited ICOM transceivers.
The AC mains
supply power cord is supplied as well as the original operators handbook.
There are no
other accessories or radios supplied with this particular PSU listing.
I do have the
IC-701 transceiver & the IC-RM3 remote & the IC-AH1 antenna tuner to
suit, available for sale within other separate listings.
Note that, due
to the age of the units, being 44 years old, I cannot give guarantees of
continued reliable operation or associated refunds or returns.
What is on
offer for sale is what is seen & as an ‘as is’ item which had last been in
service some 4 or so years ago.
Potential
buyer should use discretion with decision to make a purchase.
Thanks for the interest.
