ICOM ANTENNA
MATCHING UNIT IC-AH1 TO SUIT ICOM HF TRANSCEIVERS IC-701 IC-720 IC-720A VINTAGE

The ICOM
IC-AH1 was specifically designed by ICOM in order to match a mobile whip
antenna or similar, to 50 ohm impedance SO-238 socket of RF power O/P stage on
the HF x’ceivers as listed.
This unit may
suit an ICOM products collector, radio amateur, radio hobbyist, shortwave
listener or electronics project builder.
The matching
unit had been working until it had been removed from service approx 4 years
ago.
The unit is of
quite rugged construction & could be used in either home or mobile
situation.
It has
mounting brackets attached & includes the original owners instruction
manual.
The included
manual explains how to connect it up to radio & antenna & tuning adjustments
etc for setting up.
It also
contains schematic diag & wiring procedure, etc.
With
experimentation, it could possibly be modified or wired in order to be attached
to other HF X’ceivers or receivers.
It presents in
relatively clean condition though does have marks & scratches on lids but
expected for a 44 year old device.
There are no
other accessories supplied with the item, except for the 8 pin screw on
accessory connector for which it would require a multi-core cable so as to
connect to socket on rear of an ICOM X’ceiver.
There is no
antenna, no aerial base, no coax, no other cables or connectors included with
this listed item.

that the unit is being sold in an ‘as is’ unknown overall condition due to age factor. Being
sold is the item as it is viewed.
It was last
used a few years back & it has not recently been used or test run before
listing for sale.
