On offer is a 2001 SINGAPORE $5 five dollars BIMETAL coin featuring a "Singapore Orchid" ðŸŒ¸with BCCS logo.

From 1999 this coin issue â”€ which is part of the annual coin set â”€ showed the year date in an oval with a hologram effect that morphed into the BCCS logo when viewed from various angles. The BCCS was the Board of Commissioners of Currency in Singapore whose functions were taken over by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in October 2002. So, there were only 4 issue years with the BCCS logo (1999~2002).

Catalogued KM#104.2; weight 6.7g; size 23.3mm; scallop-edged; bi-metallic; low mintage / SCARCE.

Coin described as "lightly circulated", but it does have some scratch marks and blemishes. Please see photos of the coin you will get to make your own judgement on the quality and grade. I have tried to also photograph the hologram â”€ which is possibly harder than seeing the details/morphing with the eyes! â”€ to show the date and the BCCS logo.

Item will be sent via Australia Post with tracking.

See my other coins for sale; I will combine postage costs for multiple purchases.
