This beautiful 4-panel folding screen is a stunning work of art that will add a touch of elegance to any room. The Japanese Makura-byobu vintage screen features a delicate painting of flowers, blue birds, and tree branches as a tranquil landscape that is sure to catch the eye of any art lover. The screen image is hand painted on silk with an gorgeous geometric border; the screens are inset to a wood framework that features brass hardware. The screen can be either wall-mounted or situated as free-standing (hinges work both ways). It is 70" wide over the four panels and 35.5" high; it folds up as 17.5" x 35.5" x 3". Deep blue fabric at back.

Condition is good - with close examination there are just a few loose tiny fabric threads at edge near hinges as one would expect from a piece of this age. No other visible flaws. Paint is bright and clear, no flaking.
