Gli animali sono tra i soggetti maggiormente rappresentati nel corso dei secoli. In questo caso la fabbrica di Murano è stata prolifica nel rappresentare elementi naturalistici, soprattutto negli anni sessanta/settanta, utilizzando sapientemente il vetro come materiale plastico di una produzione stilistica rapportabile al design di ultima generazione. Essendo oggetti di arredamento, oltre alla bellezza dei manufatti, veniva associata anche una simbologia .

Gli uccelli simboleggiano la libertà, grazie alla loro capacità unica di volare in alto nel cielo e vedere il mondo da una prospettiva più elevata.

Il pesce, oltre che un simbolo che identificava i cristiani durante il periodo delle persecuzioni, e’ , in psic,l’archetipo di una profonda verità che si trova intrappolata e nascosta sotto l’acqua, e riesce a giungere alla luce; è una verità che in un primo momento brilla senza essere rivelata, e che il pescatore deve ottenere per sfamare se stesso.

Animals are among the most represented subjects over the centuries. In this case the Murano factory was prolific in representing naturalistic elements, especially in the sixties/seventies, expertly using glass as a plastic material of a stylistic production comparable to the latest generation design. Being furnishing objects, in addition to the beauty of the artefacts, a symbolism was also associated.

Birds symbolize freedom, thanks to their unique ability to fly high in the sky and see the world from a higher perspective.

The fish, as well as a symbol that identified Christians during the period of persecution, is, in psyche, the archetype of a profound truth that is trapped and hidden under water, and manages to come to light; it is a truth that at first shines without being revealed, and that the fisherman must obtain to feed himself.
