This is a 1985 midi sized (330mm wide) cassette deck from Aiwa, that formed part of a larger integrated system.

The deck is faulty. It powers up but no functions seem to operate.

Sods Law, it was literally working fine 5 minutes before I listed it (see photos) so I know the belts are OK.

Could be a repair project or used for spares.

It is a good quality 2 head deck with a 0.2 second quick reverse mechanism.

It has automatic tape type selection, manual recording level and Dolby B and C NR.

As part of a dedicated system it can be remote controlled and operate on a timer basis to record or play.

Please note this deck uses 8pin DIN connectors for audio in/out not RCA phono.

A nice bit of kit from a company renowned for making great cassette decks.
