WE CHANGED THE NAME OF “THE MEETING OF THE TRIBES 2001”...  IN 2002 TO “SPIRIT OF THE TRIBES”. This was the FIRST EVER TRIBAL FESTIVAL HERE ON THE EAST COAST.  It was announced as AMERICAN TRIBAL, VILLAGE  FOLKLORE, GYPSY TRIBAL & WORLD FUSION.                                                                                                                                                                        Some of the attendees & groups who performed in the Show was their first contact w/ TRIBAL, & so inspiring for most of them. 

The  Integrity was present in their own formula of TRIBAL, & they put so much effort to bring & share their own individuality identity dance. The MEETING opened new doors of different styles…  to those Groups whose  been together for years performing Egyptian folklore & Cabaret.                                                                                                                                                                                That  was our INTENT, THE PURPOSE & the REASON to produce  the “MEETING of the TRIBES”.

Carolena Nericcio  gave birth to a movement called ATS but the Dance is going to grow and flourish to different Directions, as you can witness at the “SPIRIT OF THE TRIBES” FOR THE NEXT 10 YEARS.
