Orient & Flume 1984 Vintage Limited Edition Paperweight that I like to call Bird Meets Cactus because the bird's obvious prickly dilemma is captured in his facial expression and by his tiny precarious perch on the cactus. It's not often a paperweight design will make me chuckle. Beautiful bird execution and detail and love how they've made that cactus and the yellow flowers seem larger than life. Lovely large floral Signature/date cane at the cactus bottom and it all sits on a lightly iridescent base in clear. Limited Edition Number #24/250.
Weighs 1.4 lbs and is approximately 3"W X 2.7" H
Signed to the base: "Orient & Flume SNF4 24/250 O 1984 E. Seaira". Also has remnant of old paper label in the middle of the base.
In very good condition...no cracks, chips or flea-bites - light base wear..a couple of small internal "as made" bubbles. Refer to photos.
