The XY stage has 125x115mm travel and it is in perfect working condition. It can be motorized or controlled manually. We have tested both axes using the controller and the joystick and found that both of them move smoothly over the entire range. The stage comes with 1” x 3” slide holder, and adapter bracket. This adapter bracket can be easily removed. By using the right adapter plate this XY stage can be mounted on any upright microscope such as Olympus BX series (BX40, BX50, BX 60, BX641, BX51, Bx61), Nikon Eclipse series, and Zeiss upright microscopes. This stage can also be a great choice for DIY microscopes.

 We also tested the functionality of the Z drive and it is in perfect working condition you only need an adapter that fits your Z (focus) knob. 

The controller can control the XY stage, the focus drive motor, the XYZ joystick, the focus limits and two filter wheels. It was tested and it is responsive and in good working condition. The controller can communicate with a computer via serial or USB to serial cable.

The Z (focus) direction of the joystick is working properly. However, only one direction of XY stick of the joystick is working properly the other direction does not work and needs repair. So please buy accordingly.
