Santa is standing by an arched window with a night scene. On the window seal also sits a little critter; is it the infamous mouse that is stirring? Santa is dressed in his traditional red suit with white fur on collar, cuffs and hem of his coat. Black buttons run down the center of his coat above his black belt that has a gold buckle. With black boots on his feet and a red cap with white trim on his head, a huge smile is spread across his face. A tan bag is set between his feet and the wall under the window. On the back of the window is written in black print "...like a bowl full of jelly. 1997", even though, the ornament has a copyright of 1996.
