"37º & 90º Degree FRET END BEVEL FILE Guitar FRET BEVELER

The Guitar FRET BEVELER file is an amazing luthier tool that is designed to efficiently and accurately file a bevel in the edges of all the frets. It consists of a metal file that is inserted into a block of wood or plastic at a 37-degree angle. Half of the file is sticking out of the block while the other half is securely fixed in the block.

How to use the Guitar FRET BEVELER?

To use the Guitar fret beveler file, simply place the flat portion of the block on top of the guitar frets with the file off the of the fretboard. Now just run the fret bevel file down the fretboard. The block will guide the file above the frets without damaging any of them while the file will bevel the fret edges. Run the Guitar fret beveler file down the fretboard a few times and check the fret ends. Then repeat

This new tool, a unique design, safely and accurately files the fret ends to the required angle.  The smooth wood runs along the top of your frets and does no damage there while the file works on both sides and so you don’t have to change the position of the neck on your work-bench.  The file is also carefully ground with safe edges so that even if you slip it is unlikely to damage your guitar and fits nicely above the top on most fixed neck instruments.
