Colorful, Vintage Travel Brochure promoting tourism in Austria in the 1950s.  There is no date on the publication but images of the automobiles, and references including the opening of recent highways indicate post war, likely late 50s or maybe very early 60s.

Brochure highlights the breadth of Austria without a lot of focus on specific cities.  Each two page spread focuses on something special about Austria: "High Above the Valleys" (skiing); "Sightseeing" (illustrations of the historical sights); "The Joy of Motoring in Austria" (how to get from area to area); "For the Hiker, the Camper, the Paddler" (outdoor activities); "Art and Culture"; "About Eating and Drinking"; "Festival Time" (includes Bregenz, which didn't start until post WWII); "Spas and Health Resorts"; "Our Austrian Treasure" (focuses on palaces); "Austrian Economics".
The centerfold includes a two page map of the entire country with roads represented.
inside front cover includes full worldwide listing of Austrian State Tourist Department representatives by country.
