This figure represents Bacchus as the Romans called him or Dionysus as the Greeks referred to him. The Putti or cherub like figure rides upon the goat while holding his golden wine glass high. He wears a wreath on his head made of grapes and grapevines. Draped around his waste is a spotted loin cloth. The exceptional Goat is modeled with his tongue hanging out and has his tongue out and front hooves raised upward. The figurine appears to be in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or other damage present. It is guaranteed to be all original with no restoration present.
