These connectors have many uses including connectors for batteries, jump leads, slave/aux batteries, cars, boats, motorbikes, quad bikes and a vast range of other power electronics and machinery.

The connector allows the grouping of two 120A contacts in one connector system and prevents accidental mating of components operating at different voltage levels. Only connectors of the same size and colour can be connected together to avoid any mistakes.

Genderless connectors - interlocking pairs, they slot into each other there are no separate male or female versions they are all the same.

These connectors can either be crimped with a heavy duty crimp tool or easily soldered. The crimp tool is very expensive but if you have one then you are in luck. Soldering is easy to do, simply hold a terminal in a clamp or vice so the end of the wire you would insert would face down towards the floor when inserted into the terminal. Heat the terminal and feed solder into the terminal, place the wire in whilst the solder is still liquid and wait for it to cool then you will have a securely soldered connection.
