Among the cost performance version "Pro II", one that was produced in Japan in the 90's has arrived! Dolphin's Pro II, which began production in 1991, was initially manufactured by the same German manufacturer, but Warwick decided to quit due to poor quality and look for another company. At that time, we had a relationship with Morris (Moridaira Musical Instruments), and the Warwick model was produced in Japan. After that, there were Japanese-made Warwicks until 1999, when it was determined that production in Japan would be too expensive. Equipped with an active MEC pickup in a smooth body shape like a dolphin. The parts used are the same as those made in Germany. It has an ash body with a deep jointed maple neck, wenge fingerboard, brass nut and frets, and outputs thick and rich bass. There are scratches and dents throughout, and dullness/rust on the metal parts. The included case has some slight dirt. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The warp of the neck has been adjusted with a rod, but when I adjusted the bass strings to be straight, the treble strings were slightly warped. This is a state in which the body is raised slightly (raised slightly from the joint). We have adjusted it so that there will be no problems with performance. There is some slight wear on the frets, but there is plenty left.
