Beautifully refinished vintage solid oak index card filing box. The box measures 5 5/8" wide x 3 1/4" deep x 4 1/8" tall. Inside is 5 1/8" wide x 2 3/4" deep x 3 3/4" tall. The box is constructed of 1/4" thick oak and uses finger joints for strength. Original hardware. Refinished with several coats of MinWax Satin Varnish and hand-polished with 0000 steel wool and paste-wax to a soft luster. New green felt lines bottom inside of box. Excellent condition. All joints are solid. No cracks, scratches or splits in the wood. Felt pads protect bottom.
